The vows matter. So do the minutes around them. Someone straightening a collar. A look across the room. The laugh nobody planned for. I film quietly and let most of the day happen on its own. That’s what your film is made of.
How I film a wedding
Mostly, I watch. I stay at the edges, listen for the vows and the speeches, and keep the camera on what’s actually happening.
Now and then a small suggestion helps the film, like a few minutes outside after the ceremony. I’ll offer it, and then I step back.
I work alongside your photographer. On larger days an associate cinematographer joins me, and I’ll tell you when that’s the plan.

I’m the filmmaker behind Hanscoop Films. I spend the day watching closely and staying out of the way, so the film is built from what really happened.
I take a limited number of weddings each year. Most days it’s just me with more than one camera. When your day calls for a second person, an associate cinematographer joins me.

What’s your videography style?Documentary. I mostly observe and let the day unfold, with light guidance when it helps the film. I use more than one camera, so the ceremony and speeches can be cut from more than one angle. Super 8 and a 90s VHS camera are available if you want an analog layer.
Can we choose the music for our wedding video?Absolutely! I offer access to a premium music licensing platform, allowing you to select from a wide range of songs and genres to perfectly match the tone of your wedding video.

Can specific scenes or moments be requested for the video?Definitely! I always encourage couples to share their ideas and preferences. Together, we can create a wedding film that truly reflects your vision and special moments.
What is your payment and cancellation policy?A 50% retainer is required to secure your date. Detailed cancellation and date-change terms are available upon request.
If you’d rather have a film of the day as it actually went (the loud parts, the quiet parts, the inside jokes), I’m probably the right filmmaker for you. If you want every minute directed, I’m probably not. Either way, tell me about your date.
